Lillian Hope

November 7, 2008
You enter the world and our lives!  How could it possibly already be a year?  My heart cannot possibly express how grateful I am that God chose me to be your mommy.  God has filled my heart to overflowing with the blessing that you have been to our family this past year.  When I doubted I could love another, God did major surgery on my heart.  He has put me through a time of testing this year.  There were times when I did not think I would survive.  Times when I didn't want to go on.  BUT, oh for the the lavish grace and mercy of my Abba Father.

It's in Christ that we find out who we are and what we are living for.
Ephesians 1:11(Message)

Lillian Hope :  My prayer for you is that you will know the only Pure Hope, Jesus.  I am asking Him that both your feet be planted firmly on love, that you'll be able to experience the extravagant dimensions of His love.  I pray that you will reach out and experience the breadth, test its length, plumb the depths, rise to the heights!  Live a life full in the fullness of God.

I so look forward to each morning when I hear your sweet voice calling, "Maama, Maama."  Your million dollar smile and your scrunched up nose peering at me over the rail of your bed.  How could it get any better!  As precious as this time is,  I look forward to sharing a love for our Savior with you.  Watching you grow to know Him.  Watching Him work in and through your life.  I will wait for those days and pray that I listen to the voice of my Father as He gives me wisdom for our days.  I pray you will see in your "Maama" an all consuming love for my Savior tha t spills over into every area of my life and our family.  I pray that you will see in me a heart that breaks with the things that break the heart of God.

Thank you Lord for our sweet Lily!
